Google Wallet

Google officially acquired Fitbit in February 2021 and is integrating Fitbit Pay into its payment platform. Google Pay is gradually becoming available on Fitbit's smartwatches and fitness trackers that are equipped with the functionality to pay.

On 29 July 2024, Fitbit Pay was replaced by Google Wallet. Since this update, the Fitbit app icon has been replaced with the Google Wallet one.
